For my birthday my daughter treated us to a manicure and pedicure. We both brought pictures of what we wanted. We didn't expect them to be exactly as the pictures but we did feel they should be reasonably similar. We couldn't have been more wrong. There was NO assistance in choosing colors, finishes or shapes for the nails. The water for my pedicure was burning hot, they adjusted it to freezing cold. The painting on toes was awful and sloppy, mine was even the wrong color. In other words they did what they wanted to do with no regard to what we wanted. The finger nails were a worse disaster. I was never asked what length I wanted and were much shorter than I expected. The acrylic wasn't smooth. Very uneven, very thick and thin in spots. She ask to see the picture I brought many times and still managed to get it wrong. This from a lady who told me she had over 30 years of experience. It seemed the more customers that came in the faster and more sloppy my application got. I wanted embellishments to be black and gold, my toes ended up a french done in black and topped with some silver glitter. My daughters were done just as carelessly as mine, she wanted embellishments suitable for the beach and didn't get anywhere near that. Later that evening she called angry and said " mom my nails glow in the dark ". Any suggestions we pointed out were disregarded. I kept being called a "fancy lady" and told I won't want to pay because she did such an awful job. Which I never even insinuated. I totally appreciate the gift but I was infuriated that this cost my daughter over 300.00. If your smart please avoid this business. It's the least professional salon I've ever been to.
